Two months ago, Fallon approached Headquarters Music with an incredibly fun project: re-create the classic Europe prog-metal epic “The Final Countdown,” note-for-note, sound-for-sound…and then record 30 actors singing the vocals to create a truly massive, inspirational and undeniably weird version of the song.

MTV’s EJ McLeavy-Fisher asked us to create three moods for H&M’s sponsorship of the 2010 MTV VMAs. It was a fun challenge to distill the aesthetic essence of each of the featured outfits into something that complemented them musically.

FRS Energy “Lance”
Director Brian Beletic wanted a track with vintage underpinnings that still felt contemporary. Lead Composers Louis Castle and James Bairian created a vintage-inspired drum loops and used the African mbira instrument to create a composition that earned raves from both the director and Lance Armstrong.
